Andres Nunes Palacio Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Andres Nunes Palacio of Amarillo, Texas, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 28, 2025 at the age of 97. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Maria Palacio (Nunes) and Jose Leon Palacio; his son Danny Palacio; and his siblings, Belen Flores, Lita Gonzales, Eva Cruz and Leon Palacio.
He is survived by: his wife Catalina Palacio; his children, Andy Palacio, Vicky Tunnell (Kelly) and Mark Palacio (Erin); his grandchildren, Tori, Teryn of Amarillo, Andino, Eric and Alicia of California; and his siblings, Yolanda Garcia and Rueben Palacio of California. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and great grandchildren.
A rosary was held on Friday, May 30th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Amarillo - Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors (2800 Paramount Blvd, Amarillo, TX 79109). A Mass will be held on Saturday, May 31st 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church (1210 SE 11th Ave, Amarillo, TX 79102).
