It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Antonio Jose Cruz Jr. of Amarillo, Texas, who passed away on April 10, 2024, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his siblings, Gloria, Lilly, Pauline, Ofelia and Alfred; and his cousin Mike Cruz.

He is survived by : his former life partner Vickie Ellis; his daughter Holly (Chris Siems); his wife Cindy; his children, Mike (Kathleen Janzen), Mark (Claudia Cruz), Timothy (Karen Cruz), Aaron Gin (Hailey) and Heather Simon; and his siblings, Evelyn Tamez, Thelma (James Dopheid), Gilda (Cameron Moore) and Charlie Cruz. He is also survived by numerous other family members and friends.

Visitation was held on Sunday, April 14th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Cox-Rowley Funeral Home (4180 Canyon Dr, Amarillo, TX 79109). A funeral service was held on Monday, April 15th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Loft Church (4400 S Georgia St, Amarillo, TX 79110).

They request donations in Tony's honor to be made to the Alzheimer's Association or the Texas Panhandle War Memorial Center.
