He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Escamilla and Tereza Escamilla; his wife Mary Escamilla; and his siblings, Tony Escamilla, Judy Mendez, Ruth Malacara and Teri Malacara.
He is survived by: his children, Dale Jr. (Yolanda), Samuel, David (Tania), Linda (Chris Pollet), Margie (Roy Vasquez) and Elizabeth (Shannon Meeker); and his brothers, Paul Escamilla, Tom Escamilla of Amarillo and Santos Escamilla of Othello Washington. He is also survived by seven grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
