She was predeceased by : her parents, Benjamin Noyes and Lola Noyes; her husband Charlie Short; and her brothers, Bubba, Don and Jimmy.

She is survived by : her children, Marie Fowler of Canyon, TX, Mary Criswell (Jerry) of Canyon, TX, Charles D. Short (Susie) of Baytown, TX, Jena Shepherd (David) of Pass Christian, MS and Kelli Walden of Amarillo, TX; and her siblings, Bobby Noyes (Charlie) of Amarillo, TX, Faye Keener of Amarillo and Beverly Brown of Amarillo, TX. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Sunday, April 14th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 4:30 PM at the Boxwell Brothers (2800 Paramount Blvd, Amarillo, TX 79109). A graveside service was held on Monday, April 15th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the Memorial Park Cemetery (6620 Co Rd 35, Vega, TX 79092).
