She was predeceased by : her parents, Henry Dotson and Novie Dotson; her husband Edgar Wells; and her brother James Dotson. She is survived by : her son John Wells (Melinda); her grandchildren, Michael Wells (Erika) and Sarah Turley (Jacob); and her great grandchildren, Colton Wells, Hunter Turley, Wiley Turley and Emery Turley. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

A memorial service was held on Monday, April 15th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Boxwell Brothers Ivy Chapel (2800 Paramount Blvd, Amarillo, TX 79109).
