With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Fred Sharpe Alexander III in Amarillo, Texas, who passed away on July 18, 2025 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

Though Fred Sharpe may journey beyond the horizon of our sight, his essence remains woven into the very fabric of our being — a guiding light in the darkness, a beacon of hope in the night.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Sharpe Alexander Jr. and Bess Grace Alexander; his wife Earnesteen O'Brien Alexander; and his stepmother Martha Alexander. He is survived by: his children, Katherine, Zachary (Manuela Insixiengmay) and Andrew (Tessa Raftery); and his grandson Dorian.
A funeral service will be held on Thursday, July 24th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Horan & McConaty Funeral Service and Cremation - Southwest Denver/Lakewood (3101 S Wadsworth Blvd, Lakewood, CO 80227).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests a donation be made in Fred's name to either the Colorado Senior Ole Boys Rugby Football Club (https://www.paypal.com) or the Rocky Mountain Cocker Rescue.
