It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Gayle Fowler of Amarillo, Texas, who passed away on August 23, 2025, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Lloyd Fowler and Edith Fowler; and his siblings, Gerald Dude Fowler, Ted Fowler, Laddy Fowler and Winfred Jo Hickey.
He is survived by: his children, Shannon Fowler of Shadduck, OK, Lance Fowler of Amarillo, Tambra Terbush (Scott) of Amarillo and Sabrina Dean (Gary) of Athens, AL; and his grandchildren, Shad Fowler, Michael Fowler (Holly), Kori Cleavenger (Kyle), Josh Terbush (Sarah), Heather Markley (Bryce), Zach Kelley (Stephanie Martinez-Kelley), Jada Kelley, Ky Gripp and Keili Gripp. He is also survived by 14 great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, August 27th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Cox Rowley Funeral Home (4180 Canyon Dr, Amarillo, TX 79109).
