He was predeceased by: his parents, Joe Garnica and Petra Garnica; his son Timothy Garnica; and his sister Vicky Stewart. He is survived by: his wife Linda Garnica; his children, Andrea Garnica of Beaumont, TX, Brian Garnica of Amarillo and Chris Miller of Lubbock; his grandchildren, Ayden, Kailyn, Saniya and Joseph; and his siblings, Josie Portillo of Littlefield, TX, Albert Garnica of Lubbock and Paul Garnica of Memphis, TX. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
A funeral service was held on Saturday, August 30th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Boxwell Brothers Ivy Chapel (2800 Paramount Blvd, Amarillo, TX 79109).
