She was predeceased by: her parents, John Hanifl and Ruth Hanifl. She is survived by: her children, C. J., Jimmy Rogers, Marci Thomas of Lubbock, Teri Rogers of Fort Worth, Katie Whitney (Derek) of Amarillo and Chris Rogers of Denver, CO; her grandchildren, Parker, Braxton, Corbin Whitney and Jason Rogers; her siblings, Mike Hanifl (Susan) and Carol Bresnahan (Mike) of St. Louis; Fanny, Mindy and Blackie. She is also survived by cousins, nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be sent in Kathy's honor to Guyon Saunders Resource Center at 200 S. Tyler Street, Amarillo, TX, 79101.
