It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Maria Luz Lugo of Amarillo, Texas, who passed away on January 18, 2021, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Andrea Ureno and Gregorio Ureno; her children, Roberto Lugo, Francisco Lugo, Javier Lugo, Rosario Soria, Christina Lugo, Raquel Martinez, Carolina Hernandez, Rosamaria Garcia, Elvia Lugo, Cecilia Lugo and Elizabeth Lugo; and her sister Felipa Vera. She was also cherished by thirty-eight grandchildren; fifty-one great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.
