Though Melody may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Melody touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her mother Virginia Turner; her sister Sherry Turner; and her son-in-law Brandon Bass. She is survived by: her children, Toby Boswell (Robyn) of Loveland, CO and Kourtney Dawson (Brian) of Amarillo, TX; her siblings, Linda Wilson (Tom) of Fort Worth, TX and Eddy Turner (Beckie) of Amarillo, TX.; and her grandchildren, Paislee Bass and Connor Boswell. She is also survived by seven nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 10th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Molly's Home (6103 Coulter St S, Amarillo, TX 79119). A memorial service will be held on Thursday, December 11th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors (2800 Paramount Blvd, Amarillo, TX 79109).
