Escobedo and Ventura Escobedo (Valdez); her husband Osvaldo Mejia; her grandchildren, Chassidy Nicole Guerra, Rico Cantu, Christina, Adam and Angelita Mejia; her sibling's children, Johnathon Montgomery, Marco Mejia, Jr. and Amanda Hernandez; her in-laws, Marcos Mejia, Sr., Eva Mejia, Tina Mejia and Mark Martinez; and her friend JoAnne Flores.
She is survived by: her children, Cynthia Cantu (Robert) of Amarillo, Texas, Abundio Mejia (Cindy) of Hereford, Benjamin Mejia of Amarillo, Texas and Joel Mejia of Amarillo, Texas; and her siblings, Amelia Soltero (Epifanio) of Lubbock, Albert Escobedo of Jacksboro, Abraham Escobedo (Gloria), Vickie Montgomery of Guymon, Ida Liza Escobedo of Hereford, Margarita Tamez (Rene) of Amarillo and Christian Escobedo of Amarillo, Texas. She is also survived by 20 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren.
