With solemn reverence, we commemorate Sherry Ann Benson Vaughn of Amarillo, Texas, whose life came to an end on June 12, 2025 at the age of 89, leaving behind cherished memories. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Haskell Fay Benson and Verdie May Johnson Benson; her sisters, Evelyn Hacker Dowell and Norma Genelle Sigle; and her nephew Johnny Brent Sigle.
She is survived by: her husband Boyd W. Vaughn; her daughters, Valerie Freeman (Bob) of Fort Worth and Delisa Boyd (Ernie) of Amarillo; her grandchildren, Corbin Freeman of Albuquerque, Tanner Freeman (Brooke) of Bentonville, Harrison Boyd of Amarillo and Alexandra Boyd (Hayden Sanders) of Amarillo; her sister-in-law Joann Vaughn Thatcher of Amarillo; and also Anna Vaughn Freeman of Bentonville, Arkansas.. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, June 14th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Rose Hill Cemetery (1555 Co Rd 13, Tulia, TX 79088).
Memorial donations may be made to First Baptist Church of Amarillo or First Baptist Church of Tulia.
