She was predeceased by : her parents, Santos Perez and Marcelina Perez (Juan); her daughter Marie Elena Holguin; her great grandchild Augustin Daniel Rodriguez; and her sister Selia Cabrera.

She is survived by : her husband Juan Gonzales Sr. (Kress); her children, Linda Morales (Jose) of Amarillo, TX, Eddie Gonzales (Lupe) of Lubbock, TX, Juan Gonzales, Jr. of Amarillo, TX and Joshua Gonzales (Jade) of Amarillo, TX; and her siblings, Santos Perez, Jr. (Connie) of Dimmitt, TX, Robert Perez of Dimmitt, TX and Janie Ramirez of Dimmitt, TX. She is also survived by eight grandchildren; and 3 great-grandchildren.

A rosary was held on Tuesday, April 23rd 2024 at 6:00 PM at the Boxwell Brothers Ivy Chapel (2800 Paramount Blvd, Amarillo, TX 79109). A Mass was held on Wednesday, April 24th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the St. Laurence Catholic Church (2300 N Spring St, Amarillo, TX 79107). A burial was held on Wednesday, April 24th 2024 at the Llano Cemetery.
