He is survived by: his wife Laura Keefer of Andrews; his sons, Oscar D. Keefer, Jr. of Georgetown and John David McElroy of Colorado City; and his brothers, Harvey Keefer of Odessa, Martin Keefer of Austin and Michael Keefer of Leander. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren, and 8 great grandchildren.
