He was predeceased by : his parents, Brook Ercell Jeter, Jr. and Frances Elizabeth Hoffman. He is survived by : his close friend Denise Templet; his son Christopher Jeter; and his siblings, Tommy Jeter and Shari Miller. He is also survived by nieces, nephews.
