She was predeceased by: her parents, Maria Gamez and Jesus Salazar; her stepfather Natividad Gomez; her brother Natividad Gomez Jr.; and her pet Lola.
She is survived by: her children, Stephanie Gonzales (Johnny Aguilar) and James Salazar; her sister Delma Pena (Dede Orta); and her grandchildren, James Salazar Jr., Ashley Salazar, Jennika Aguilar, Jasiah Aguilar and Johnny Aguilar. She is also survived by numerous other family members and friends.
