It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Linda Buchanan (Annona, Texas), who passed away on December 10, 2025, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. Though Linda has departed this earthly realm, her legacy endures — a legacy of love that will continue to illuminate the lives of family and friends in the darkest of hours. May her spirit soar on wings of eternal peace, forever cherished in the tender embrace of memory.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Simmons and Virginia Cloninger Simmons; her husband Okie Buchanan; her son Roger Bass; and her siblings, Joseph Simmons and Virginia Mae Goble.
She is survived by: her sons, Tracy Simmons (Tammye) of Athens, Leroy Buchanan (Jenny) of Paris and Brian Buchanan (Jacey); and her siblings, Deborah, Patricia and John Simmons (Pam) of Saranc, Michigan. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren, nieces, nephews.
A funeral service will be held on Monday, December 15th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Annona First Baptist Church.
