It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Carolyn Rivers (Argyle, Texas), born in Galveston, Texas, who passed away on May 15, 2020, at the age of 66, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Alex Legate and Corie Legate; her brother Timothy Legate; and her parents-in-law, Joseph and Flaudine Rivers.
She is survived by: her husband Timothy Rivers; her son Thaxton Rivers (Mandi); her grandchildren, Caedmon Rivers and Mason Rivers of Chico, Texas; her sisters, Joyce Countryman of New Waverly, Elizabeth Sutton of Lewisville and Dorothy Chambers (Jack) of Tarkington Prairie; and her sister-in-law Thresa Smith (Bennie) of Centerville. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
