It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Davissr. in Argyle, Texas, born in Timpson, Texas, who passed away on August 6, 2020, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Ann B. Davis (McCormack) and William Leonard Davis; his former wife Carolyn B. Davis (Cox); his wife Roberta A. Davis (Latham); his daughter Susie Davis; and his brothers, Billy R. Davis and Leonard T. Davis.
He is survived by: his sister Mary Stevens; his children, James F. Davis, Jr. (Patty) of Sanger, Anthony (Donell) of Aubrey, Texas, Frances Edmiston (Kenneth) of Euless, Lynda Renner of Weatherford, Sandra Aitken (Ed) of Fort Lupton and Heidi Walker; and his grandchildren, James F. Davis, III, Lynn Hillis, Melissa Bozeman, Julie Oldham, Jennifer Waldrip, Jessica Bullard, Stephanie Harrison, Michelle Erickson, John Smelley, Tammy Mitchell, Brian Smelly, Caitlin Walker, Emily Walker and Margaret Walker. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations made to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital in memory of Jim.
