She was predeceased by: her husband Fred Gonzales Jr.; her parents, Santos Cantu and Maria Cantu; and her sisters, Carolina Trevino and Carmen Searles.
She is survived by: her children, Melba Garner (Don) of Arlington, Shirley Matthews (Steve) of Fort Worth, Alfred Gonzales of Fort Worth and Michael Gonzales (Kelly) of Tulsa, Oklahoma. She is also survived by seven grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews; many dear friends who she considered her family.
