He is survived by: his wife Joyce Cummins; his children, Cynthia Bates (Craig) and Kenneth Schasteen (Jennifer); and his grandchildren, Kenneth O. Schasteen, Amber Buckley, Thomas and Hunter Bates. He is also survived by 7 great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
