With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James Herschell Holland of Arlington, Texas, born in Sherman, Texas, who passed away on February 27, 2023 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his pets, Pixie and Max; and his siblings, Weldon Holland, Anna Bell Clements, Lucile Hogan, Ola Fae Jones, Ileen Cunningham, Imogene Brewer and Nina Mae Henderson.

He is survived by: his wife Barbara Holland; his children, Tammy Beckham (Jimmy Igoe), Marty Holland (Darlene), Lisa Holland (Sam Haynes), Rob Holland (Gina), Scott Ferrell (Donna) and Teri Smith (Donald); his grandchildren, Ryan Brewer (Vikki), Josh Brewer (Tahnee), Rachel Shockey (Morgan), Chloe Mammen (Dustin), Darbie Holland (Matt Byers), Zack Berry, Jake Berry (Georgia), Tory Cochran, Chad Smith, Amanda Ferrell and Corie Ferrell; and his brother Kenneth Holland. He is also survived by 18 great grandchildren; and one great great grandchild.
