She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Godby and Ione Godby of Fort Worth; her husband Travis Weldon Dossey; her siblings, Betty Clements of Fort Worth, Texas, Kathryn Browning of Fort Worth, Texas and Charles Godby, Jr. of Fort Worth; and her granddaughter Jenna Dossey of Lipan, Texas..

She is survived by: her children, T. Weldon, Jr. Dossey (Siana) of Lipan, Texas, Jeffrey Alan Dossey (Becky) of Arlington and Jeanne Dossey Byers of Dublin, Ohio; her grandchild Bree Chasteen (Clint) of Plano, Texas; and her children, Paul Byers of Dublin, Ohio, Erin Evans (Jeff) of Arlington, Brett Dossey (Kathryn) of Dallas, Neil Byers of Highland Heights, Kentucky and Kyle Dossey (Rachel) of Arlington.
