She was predeceased by : her parents, Floy Dillon and Monard Dillon; and her husband Rev. Alvis Edmonson. She is survived by : her sisters, Gussie Cook of Grand Prairie, Bobbie Miller (Bill) of Sherman and Patricia Chadwick of Grand Prairie; her step-children, Rev. Mike Edmonson (Elizabeth) of Sanctuary, Dana (Jim Lang) of Garrett, Bryan and Leigh of Burleson; her nephew James Cook (Sharla) of Mansfield; and her nieces, Vicki Wade of Garland, Angela (Mike Frie) of Grand Prairie, Sherri (Roland Estrada) of Collinsville, Lisa Posey of Irving and Traci Chiles of Garland. She is also survived by four great nieces, 8 great nephews, and many step grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Thursday, June 1st 2023 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Moore Bowen Road Funeral Home (4216 S Bowen Rd, Arlington, TX 76016). A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 2nd 2023 at 10:00 AM at the Heritage Baptist Church (5100 Parliament Dr, Arlington, TX 76017). A graveside service will be held on Friday, June 2nd 2023 at 2:00 PM at the Grove Hill Memorial Park (3920 Samuell Blvd, Dallas, TX 75228).
