She was predeceased by: her parents, Susan Ann Pendel and Stephan Joseph Kiesel; her husband Stanley Peter Sommers; her daughter Carol Ann Arlt; her grandson Theodore Quentin Arlt; and her siblings, Stephen Eugene Kiesel, George Albert Kiesel and Frances Rita Gebhardt.
She is survived by: her children, Stan Sommers, Jr. (Mary Jane) of Arlington, Jerry Sommers of Sachse, Janie Welch (Gary) of Arlington and Ginny Young (Rick) of Euless. She is also survived by seven grandchildren, seven great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
