He is survived by: his wife Jo White; his stepchildren, Terri White, Ann Watson and Tony White; his stepgrandchildren, Colin Watson, Grace Watson, Cabot White and Tess Spurrell; his children, David Roaten (Tiffany) and Daina Ortega (David); his grandsons, Peter Kuhlmann and Wesley Kuhlmann (Rose); and his siblings, Jimmy Roaten and Laurie Childers (Wayne).
