He was predeceased by: his parents, George Elton Tidwell and Lola Mae Underhill Tidwell; and his siblings, Ken Tidwell and Carolyn Tidwell. He is survived by: his wife Nancy Jean Stephenson Tidwell; his daughter Mesha Cox (Joey); his grandchildren, Erica and Landon; his daughter Misty Cardenas; his stepson Eric Tidwell; his sisters-in-law, Joyce Livesay and Marty Tidwell; and his sibling's children, Kirk Livesay, Jessica Livesay, Cameron Livesay, Tammy Livesay, Melissa Cwikla (Rex Jr.), Mike Tidwell and Micki Fenstermaker.
