She was predeceased by: her husband Jimmie Strength Sr.; her brother Whitmire; and her parents, Roy Quincy and Margaret Whitmire. She is survived by: her son Jimmie Strength Jr.; and her sisters, Gail Goodwin, Betty Sullivan and Terry Blackwood. She is also survived by many extended family members and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in her memory to The Woodson Cemetery Fund under the direction of Melton Kitchens Funeral Home.
