He was predeceased by: his parents, Theodore Hurley Echard, Sr. and Mary Lee Hune Echard; and his sisters, Mary Jane Ferrill and Florence Ann Collins. He is survived by: his wife Martha Echard; his sons, Theodore "Ted" Hurley Echard, III (Susan) and Leon Earl Echard; his grandchildren, Ty Echard, Molly Echard, Jon Werner and JT Werner; and his great grandchildren, Elli Werner and Beaux Werner. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, July 25th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Arp Emmanuel Baptist Church (202 E Longview St, Arp, TX 75750). A funeral service will be held on Friday, July 25th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, July 25th 2025 at the Ebenezer Cemetery.
