He was predeceased by: his parents, Joe Riley Meador and Edith Ethel Meador (Myers); his sister Patsy; and his siblings-in-law, Thomas Cumbie, Marinda Ann Meador and Jolene Smith.

He is survived by: his wife Imarie Meador of Aspermont; his sons, Ron Meador (Jan) of Duncan, Jerry Meador (Connie) of Brownwood and Tim Meador (Diana) of Eastland, Texas; his brother Bill Meador of Peacock, Texas; his grandchildren, Scott Meador (Shannon) of Corinth, Heather Meador of Hobart, Nikki Meador of Abilene, Jerrod Meador (Jaci) of Sweetwater and Derrik Meador of Lago Vista; his great grandchildren, Sydney Dillenberg (Johnny), Seth Meador, Sawyer Meador, Taylor Bickham (Karch), Braylon Meador, Hayden Coe (Kaylee), Cooper Meador, Cutter Meador, Brynli Smith, Emily Meador, Timothy MacKey Meador, Elijah Meador, Jett Drake and Kash King; his great great grandchildren, Karter Coe and Wriggs Bickham; and his great grandchildren, Dennis and Yvonne Spray. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and a host of extended family.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 3rd 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Giles-McCoy Funeral Home (1032 S Broadway St, Aspermont, TX 79502). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, June 4th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Jayton First Assembly of God.

Memorial contributions are encouraged to be made to the donor's favorite charity or the Stonewall County Senior Citizens Center, in his honor.
