He is survived by : his wife Vivian Gary of Athens; his stepdaughter Betty Sue Gunter of Athens; his sister Ruth Curl (Joe) of Louisiana; and his grandchildren, Meaghan Gunter, Justin Gunter, Michael Gunter and Samantha Mershong.
