We are sad to announce that on January 10, 2024, at the age of 88, James William Yount of Atlanta, Texas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Franklin Yount and Oneta Yount; his wife Faye Yount; and his son Ronald Wayne Yount. He is survived by : his sons, Chris Yount (Kay) of Atlanta and Gary Moore (Holly) of Queen City, Texas; his siblings, Ennis Yount (Ann) of Atlanta, Texas and Peggy Dupree (Billy) of Atlanta, Texas; and his grandchildren, Melissa Powell (Chad), Josh Yount (Kasey), Ashley Rozell (David), Coty Yount (Melissa), Gary Moore, Casey Yount (Katie), Sue Yount, Austyn Baxley (Paul Welborn) and Matthew Murphy. He is also survived by numerous great grandchildren; one great great granddaughter.
