He was predeceased by : his parents, Olen Purtle and Lida Mary Purtle; and his brother Clifton Purtle. He is survived by : his wife Corlis Purtle of Atlanta, Texas; his children, Cary Purtle of Atlanta, Scott Purtle of Atlanta, Daryl Carver of Redwater, Texas and Angela Carver of Redwater, Texas; his sister Margie Cummings of McGehee, Arkansas; and his grandchildren, Taylor Carver, Tyler Carver and Katie Slater.
