With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Kay Mefford Haley of Atlanta, Texas, born in Huntsville, Kentucky, who passed away on December 21, 2023 at the age of 87. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Kay Mefford Haley to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by : her parents, John Beckham and Pearlie Cook Mefford; her husband Charles Haley; and her siblings, Ada Mefford Bowers, Marvel Mefford, Carolyn Mefford Kirkland, Russell Mefford and John Mefford.

She is survived by : her children, Linda Haley Ware (Steve) of Atlanta and Eddie Haley (Tammy) of Atlanta; her grandchildren, Jeffrey Ware (Hannah) of Fort Worth, James Haley of Atlanta, Paul Haley of Marshall and Haley Ware Elliott (Tanner) of Vicenza; and her great grandchild Evelyn Ware of Fort Worth. She is also survived by three nephews and one niece.

Her love of gospel music continued throughout her life and even as Alzheimer's stole her memory, she was still able to enjoy singing her favorite hymns and expressing her love for Jesus.
