He is survived by: his children, Garry Jr. of Graham, TX, Jeremy Starr of Albuquerque, NM, Jaclyn Starr of Albuquerque, NM and Nicolette Starr of Albuquerque, NM; and his brother Terry Starr of Raymondville, TX. He is also survived by three grandchildren; two great grandchildren.
