He is survived by : his mother Doris Laverne LaQuey (Huffstutler) of Vernal, UT; his wife Sandy Matthews of Aubrey, TX; his daughter Meagan LaQuey of Denton, TX; his sister Melissa LaQuey of Vernal, UT; and his siblings-in-law, Jimmy Matthews (Sue) of Denton, TX and Marilyn Aven of Denton, TX. He is also survived by several aunts, uncle, and cousins; five nephews; and one niece.
