She was predeceased by: her parents, Pedro Cortez and Maria Diaz; her husband Manuel Vera Garcia; and her siblings, Jose, Juan, Felipe, Cornelio Cortez and Noberta Cortez.
She is survived by: her children, Juan, Angel, Jose Luis, Rito, Teodoro Vera, Teresa Acevedo, Rosa Vera, Paulina Palacios, Yolanda Vera and Maria Del Castillo; and her siblings, Antonio, Catarino Cortez, Santos, Gregoria, Angela and Anastacia Cortez. She is also survived by many grandchildren, several great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
