She is survived by : her parents, Jennifer Castillo (Steven Palomino) and Jorge "George" Mercado, Jr. (Lisa Mercado); her husband Jacob Norton; her siblings, George Anthony Mercado (Clarissa Cavazos) and Gabby Mercado; and her grandparents, Frances Hernandez, Moe Dela Rosa, Elida Martinez Morales, Antonio Morales, Jorge "George" Mercado, Sr. and Rosa Maria Mercado. She is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, May 29th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Mission Funeral Home - South Side (6204 S 1st St, Austin, TX 78745). A rosary was held on Wednesday, May 29th 2024 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Thursday, May 30th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the St. Anthony Catholic Church. A burial was held on Thursday, May 30th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Assumption Cemetery (3650 S I-35 Frontage Rd, Austin, TX 78704).
