He was predeceased by: his parents, Audrey Brawley and N. W. Brawley; his son Richard Dean Brawley; and his sister Charlene. He is survived by: his daughters, Carole Jean Strange (Rick) and Linda Gail Brawley; his wife Theresa Louise Forrest; his sister Elwanda Barnett; his granddaughters, Katie Jones (David) and Susan Green (Andrew); and his sibling's children, Janice Willette and Patrick Kelly.
