He was also cherished by numerous nephews and nieces.

“words cannot describe the emptiness we feel. Meeting Chandra and family was one of the most precious moments of our lives. He brought us so much happiness and gave us a close family away from home. I made it a point to talk to him at least once a month during the last year or so as he was becoming weaker. We talked about life and how important it is to be happy even when he knew that he could not do the things he love like sculpting. He was such a talented artist I often was so impressed of his creations. Last time was Oct 31, 2020. I told him to hang in there and we will come see him summer 2021. I can write a book about him, because there is so much richness that he brought to our lives. May we meet again in samsara.”
