It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Guadalupe Sosa Jr. of Austin, Texas, born in Mercedes, Texas, who passed away on March 28, 2025, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his mother Margarita I. Sosa. He is survived by: his father Guadalupe P. Sosa; his sisters, Norma Cano, Celina Robledo, Martha Hinojosa and Judy Martinez; his wife Tricia; his children, Erica, Lupe III, Pete, Sam and Nick; and his grandchildren, Ian, Christina, Axel and Beau.

The family wishes that donations be made to the Gary Sinise Foundation for veterans and first responders in lieu of flowers.
