She is survived by: her parents, Hang Tuyet Nguyen and Samuel Morgan Shaw; her siblings, Indica Shaw, Shivanii Nneka and Quanah Abshire; her grandmother Le Black; her stepgrandmother Lucie; her aunts, Jacquie Loan Nguyen and Huyen Carey (Bryan Carey); her uncle Linh Nguyen; her great-grandparents, Pat and Irv Buppert; her grandfather Larry Shaw; her uncle Jesse Shaw; her aunt Kelley Deahl; her cousins, Larry Shaw, Lauren Deahl and River Deahl; her stepgrandfather Mitchell Darren Black; and her uncle David Luan Nguyen.

Raised in the Native American Church ways with the spiritual foundation of love, faith, hope and charity, these teachings were a very integral part of her life and made her who she was.
