She was predeceased by: her parents, Esteban Cantu and Salud Cantu. She is survived by: her daughter Mary Jane Ortiz; her siblings, Uvaldo, Emilio Cantu and Victoria Cantu; her siblings-in-law, Eddie Noriega and Leticia Noriega; her great grandchildren, Aniyah, Athena and Jeremy Jr. Lucero; her husband Sam Noriega; her children, Rudy Rios, Sammy Noriega Jr. (Kristy) and Martha Noriega; her siblings, Steve Cantu (Phyllis) and Sally Cantu Rocha (Roman); her siblings-in-law, Armando Noriega (Rosa), David Noriega (Yolanda), Anieda Castillo and Sandra Zapata; her grandchildren, Christopher Rios, John Rios (Diana), Gloria Rios-Weed (Shawn), Alfred Ortiz Jr. (Leila), Michael Ortiz (Kristen), Desiree Vazquez (Gilbert), Samantha Noriega (Jeremy Lucero), Ayden Noriega, Makena Noriega, Haley and Hannah Dunn; and her great grandchildren, Matthew, Andrew Rios, Ryan, Hunter Weed, Makenna, Trevor Ortiz (TJ), Alfred III, George Elijah, Josephine Jane Ortiz, Ezra, Kora Vazquez and Aria Lucero. She is also survived by cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, May 13th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Harrell Funeral Home (4435 Frontier Trail, Austin, TX 78745). A rosary was held on Wednesday, May 13th 2026 from 7:00 PM to 7:30 PM at the same location. A Mass will be held on Thursday, May 14th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Paul Catholic Church (10000 David Moore Dr, Austin, TX 78744).
