He was predeceased by: his parents, Alfred Zapalac and Martha Zapalac (Roepke); and his brother Wallace Zapalac. He is survived by: his wife Irlene Zapalac (Finn); his daughters, Brenda and Diana Janecka (Ricky); his grandchildren, Trey Bouldin (Lacie), Tonya Burleigh (Daryn), Candice Zapalac-Janecka and Johnette Janecka; his great grandchildren, James, Jacob, Claire Bouldin, Easton and Casen Burleigh; and his brother Glen Zapalac (Peggy). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
