She was predeceased by: her parents, Margaret Ann Caldwell Scarbrough and Lemuel Scarbrough; and her brother Lem Scarbrough Jr.. She is survived by: her daughter Nancy Caldwell Scarbrough Garrison; her grandchildren, Samuel Scarbrough Garrison and Tucker Abigail Garrison; her sibling's children, Lynn Ellen Scarbrough Ryals and Douglas Scarbrough of Austin; and her caregivers, Priscilla Frimpong, Seraphine Omgba, Melingui and Stancy Spencer.
A reception will be held on Saturday, December 20th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Tarry House (3006 Bowman Ave, Austin, TX 78703). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, December 20th 2025 at the Oakwood Cemetery (1601 Navasota St, Austin, TX 78702).
