In the sacred silence of farewell, Maria is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. She was predeceased by: her sister Yvette Baquera. She is survived by: her son Elan Young; her parents, Rosa Gonzalez and David Baquera; her sisters, Denisse, Diana Baquera and Paikea Prado; her niece Josephine Torres; her grandparents, Celia and Jose Baquera; and her pet Bumblebee. She is also survived by her family, friends.
A funeral service was held on Thursday, October 30th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Harrell Funeral Home (4435 Frontier Trail, Austin, TX 78745). A graveside service was held on Thursday, October 30th 2025 at 2:30 PM at the Assumption Cemetery (3650 S I-35 Frontage Rd, Austin, TX 78704).
