She was predeceased by: her husband Jesse Luna; her parents, Pedro Esparza and Guadalupe Esparza Mendez; her daughter Elizabeth; her son-in-law Barry King, Sr.; her siblings, Jimmy Esparza, Jonas Esparza, Joe Esparza, David Esparza, Lenora (Felix Gonzalez), Cleofas (Martin Nunez) and Lupe (Mike Jimenez); her niece Eusebia "Cheva" Vasquez; her daughter-in-law Alejandra Luna; and her sister-in-law Angie Rangel Esparza.
She is survived by: her children, Michael Luna (Debbie), Joseph Luna, Robert Luna, James Luna, Charles Luna and Michelle Luna; and her brothers, Pete Esparza and Jesse Esparza (Dolores). She is also survived by 18 grandchildren, 34 great grandchildren, and 10 great great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 21st 2025 from 5:00 AM to 9:00 AM and from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Mission Funeral Home - South Side (6204 S 1st St, Austin, TX 78745). A rosary will be held on Tuesday, October 21st 2025 from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Wednesday, October 22nd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Julia Catholic Church (3010 Lyons Rd, Austin, TX 78702). A burial will be held on Wednesday, October 22nd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM at the Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery (11463 TX-195, Killeen, TX 76542).
