With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Matthew Engelman (Austin, Texas), born in Charleston, South Carolina, who passed away on April 6, 2021 at the age of 50. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his father Dr. William R.; and his sister Linda. He is survived by: his mother Greta L. Engelman; his wife Claudia Garcia; the mother of his child Linda; his children, Ivan and Linda; and his siblings, Bill, Laura (Tim) and David (Kraig). He is also survived by seven nieces and nephews, and a loving extended family.
