She is survived by : her husband Richard Salazar; her daughters, Clarissa De La Cruz, Angelica Salazar and Roxann Castillo; her goddaughter Leilani Montalvo; her sons, Rogelio De La Cruz and Richard Salazar, IV; her mother Tomasita G. Nuñez; her siblings, Olga Candelas and Tomas Nuñez, Jr.; her nephews, Arthur, Freddy and Phillip; her niece Rachel; her close friends, Ammie Calderon and Jennifer Herrera; and her siblings, Thomas Q. Nuñez, Sr. and Janie Saldaña. She is also survived by many other nieces, nephews and cousins.

Visitation was held on Monday, April 29th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Mission Funeral Home - East Chapel (1615 E Cesar Chavez St, Austin, TX 78702).
